Her shop around the corner: Kotob Khan

YAAAAAY…..She opened her own version of the little shop around the corner…her dream came true πŸ™‚

As I didn’t manage to attend the soft opening, fa last Sunday I decided to go visit Karam’s Bookshop, it is like 10 minutes away from where I work…fa cool.

I was taken the very first moment I saw the place…even from the outside…bright…with flowers around…and lots of greenery.

I entered…and I fell in love with the place..the variety of Arabic, English, German and childern books is awesome…..you can grab a book and go sit and have a nice time reading there in a truly cozy atmosphere. Have a cup of coffee…or a snack…and forget the world…personally…I would go and spend Friday mornings there….I loved the place.

The most significant thing about the Kotob Khan is the owner’s passion to what she is doing…it is her lifetime dream…..up and running…and with all the enthusiasm she has..and the serives she is gonna provide….I guess…this place is gonna be one of the top bookshops in Egypt…

The Kotob Khan Grand opening will be Friday May 5th 2006 at 7 PM. But it is operating now. SO…GO….it is real fun.
