Note to self and to you

” ‘D’you know what happens when you hurt people?’ Ammu said. “When you hurt people, they begin to love you less. That’s what careless words do. They make people love you a little less”

  1. I completely agree, and yet sometimes you can’t go around it , you know? The situation inadvertently puts you in a position where you hurt somebody and you can’t take it back. Then the guilt takes over. It’s just so bad.

  2. “If you have nothing good to say then keep your mouth shut” is probably the best advice ever.

  3. I love the quote, hand me the book after you read it missy 😀

  4. Cesario: Yeah, I totally agree..sometimes you just can’t help it.

Jessy: It is a good advice…yet for someone like me requires too much self-control that I can hardly offer

Niso: I will, you will love it am pretty sure

  5. I need to re-read this book 🙂 Absolutely one of favorites 🙂

And yes, very true. This is what careless words exactly do!

You know, I read once this story: that bad words/deeds are like nails you put into a piece of wood. You may apologize or try to undo the bad dead… the nail will be out of the piece of wood but a small hole will always be there. So, we better watch out for what we say/do.

  6. yeah ya Mayo pretty true

  7. Couldn’t agree more…..

  8. Just passing by to say that I read your blog from Casablanca and that I like it so much!
